Shared note

The 1883 Kelly's Directory entry for Emneth (pp.309-10) records of the vicarage that 'The living is a vicarage, net yearly value about £300, with residence, in the gift of the Bishop of Ely and held since 1868 by the Rev. Edward Henry Lovelock M.A. of St. John's College, Cambridge.'

Rev. Edward appears in the 1872-3 land records as owning a couple of acres at Emneth with a rental value of £43. Kelly's says the living is worth £300.
