From Graham in email to list 16/11/00 (refers to William O marriage(s) only - and Sarah L's death as reg'd in Pewsey RD - i.e. no maiden name known then). Shared note

28/4/05 I've been tracking down the Pocock family, esp. trying to find out 'Who was my (RL) Great-Aunt "Queen"?', with help from Helen Norton, following recently re-opened discussion with James ref. the photograph of the 3 Pocock sisters(*) I'd sent him (for the site?) last autumn and, preceding that, my picking up on Robert's and Graham's emails of 6 and 16 Nov. 2000 (qv) to the Lovelock list ref. William Oliver L's 2nd marriage and the apparent fact of he and his brother (my Grandfather) Alfred John marrying 2 sisters. Graham, 16/11/00: "Since this all started from Robert's record of the marriage of William Oliver on 2 August 1915 which included the information that he was a widower, you may wish to note that the GRO records include the marriage of a William O Lovelock in the January-March quarter of 1900 in the Pewsey RD, which covered Wootton Rivers. The only likely-to-be-relevant death I have recorded from the GRO records is that of a Sarah Lovelock aged 32 in the January-March quarter of 1909 also in the Pewsey RD." I found the details today (28/4/05) on Free BMD: Pewsey, March quarter 1909, 5a, 113. Also (29/4/05) for Bill's first marriage, to Sarah MILLS: Pewsey, March quarter 1900, 5a, 221. [Website has no surname as yet; David L's file has this and other details of the bride.]

(*) When I visited Clench as a lad, Great-Aunt 'Queen' lived with Great Uncle Bill and Great Aunt 'Jo' (Anna Isabel I now know). The 3rd sister in the photo was of course Florence Ethel, my Gran.
