Shared note

Very little known about Jack, other than, according to family lore, he was a friend of Frank in the trenches and had promised to take care of 'Em' and the children. Mum didn't like him. Remembers him visiting Mill Lane, riding a plough horse (more likely a cart horse, given his occupation on Len's birth cert.). Mum also thought he had been at Arthur Butler's home on one occasion we visited there.

Note

John Hart also appears as I4977 in the Tangley Tree.
